1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LetterKraft, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LetterKraft ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use LetterKraft. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials - All activity that occurs under your account - Providing accurate profile information - Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We authenticate via phone number and OTP. You must have access to the phone number registered with your account.

4. Permitted Use

LetterKraft is designed for drafting administrative and professional documents. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

- Generate fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal content - Impersonate another person or organization without authorization - Use the app to create documents intended to deceive or defraud - Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights - Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the service - Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal app usage

5. AI-Generated Content

Letters and documents generated by LetterKraft are produced using AI (Google Gemini) based on your writing style samples and instructions.

Important disclaimers: - AI-generated content is a draft aid, not a substitute for professional or legal advice - You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any generated content - We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal validity of generated documents - Generated content may occasionally contain errors or inappropriate language - You assume full responsibility for any document you send or submit using content generated by this app

6. Your Content & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of: - Writing samples you upload - Letters and documents you generate - Letterheads you upload - Signatures you create (stored exclusively on your device)

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for providing the app's functionality (OCR extraction, style inference, letter generation). We do not claim ownership of your content.

Signatures are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. You are responsible for backing up your signatures; they will be lost if you uninstall the app or change devices.

We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary for processing (see Privacy Policy).

7. Subscription, Credits, Usage Limits, and Payments

LetterKraft may offer free access, paid subscription plans, onboarding credits, promotional credits, recharge packs, top-ups, ad-supported access, and usage-based feature limits.

Plan names, pricing, billing cycles, included usage allowances, available features, renewal terms, and current commercial terms are presented in the app or website at the time of purchase or use. Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the rules of the applicable app store, payment provider, or platform.

Use of AI-powered features may be subject to credits, quotas, fair-use restrictions, recharge balances, feature gating, or advertisement-supported overage access. We may determine how actions such as letter generation, reply generation, bulk or multi-recipient generation, refinements, voice features, and similar outputs are counted toward such usage limits.

The Service may display advertisements, including banner, native, interstitial, or rewarded advertisements, to free-tier users and, in some cases, to users who exceed included plan usage and continue using certain features without upgrading or purchasing additional balance.

Recharge packs, top-ups, onboarding credits, promotional credits, and similar balances may be non-transferable, non-refundable, and usable only within the Service unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at the time of issue or purchase. Unless otherwise stated, such balances may be consumed according to the usage rules then in effect.

Subscription fees and digital purchases are charged through the relevant app store, payment platform, or web checkout provider. Refunds, where available, are subject to applicable law and the policies of the relevant payment platform. We reserve the right to change pricing, plan benefits, included usage, recharge offerings, advertising behavior, feature availability, and usage rules with reasonable notice where required.

8. Abuse, Fraud, and Circumvention

You may not abuse, manipulate, or circumvent subscription systems, credits, quotas, recharge packs, onboarding credits, advertisements, fair-use rules, or feature restrictions. Prohibited conduct includes creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated free benefits, attempting to bypass advertisements or limits, using automation to extract excessive value, exploiting bugs or promotional mechanics, or otherwise obtaining unauthorized access to paid or limited features.

9. Suspension or Restriction of Access

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, limit, or terminate access to the Service or specific features where we reasonably suspect abuse, fraud, misuse, circumvention of limits, unusual account behavior, excessive automated usage, non-payment, chargebacks, or violation of these Terms. We may also place temporary or permanent limits on certain features in order to protect the integrity, security, availability, or economics of the Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep LetterKraft available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

- Scheduled or emergency maintenance - Third-party service outages (Supabase, Google APIs) - Force majeure events

We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that: - Violate these terms - Engage in abusive or fraudulent activity - Remain inactive for an extended period (with prior notice)

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

- LetterKraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind - We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app - Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim - We are not responsible for the content of documents you generate, send, or submit

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of LetterKraft shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra, India.
